I primarily use token doublers like ] ] ] and use various ways to recur Breya. I've got a Thopter token tribal Breya deck, too. Just remember to reserve some slots to deal with mass artifact hate, and be sure to run ] to help you actually do these things.Īlso ] is pretty sweeet. The real strength of this build is combining breya's power (] or breya sacs) with ] and then turning your 10 myrs into 10 chiefs of the foundry, getting +9/+9 from eachother, or 10 masters of etherium, starting at like 25/25 and getting +9/+9 from eachother. My build used all the anthems to make the myrs valuable at first, but they just don't quite get there as fast as I wanted, so I took them mostly out (tempered steel, chief of the foundry, master of etherium stayed in because they are creatures and I had a full art tempered steel). Then you definitely want prototype portal/soul foundry so that you can turn these myrs into something valuable. Throw in ] for some real shenanigans, or ] and you're really cooking. Since the myr turbine makes an artifact, you can tap it and one other artifact to untap turbine and then repeat. ] lets you turn every artifact on your board into tap: make a myr. Only tutor I ran was tezzeret because it was too consistent otherwise.Īlways tutor up or aim to put together myr turbine+clock of omens first. So I had a very effective tokens build with Breya that I took apart because I had overtuned it for my meta and wanted to make a 4 color planeswalkers build in wubr anyways. They combo super easily with cards like ] and ]. I would say the best are Saheeli, ] and the new ]. Saheeli, Sublime Artificer is similar, but much better. ] is great with instant/sorcery shenanigans, but not very applicable in an artifact theme deck. ] is okay for 7 on it's own, but it is completely nuts when you can recur or flicker it. It can even go infinite with the right cards, but it can also be extremely underwhelming when you only get to copy something small, making it a vulnerable 5-mana do-nothing card. Type 2 is harder to pin down, since it heavily depends on the other cards you run to trigger them. ] is a decent win-con, but not something you want to slap on some random artifact creature. ] / ] deserve a shoutout too, but they can be situational. ] is a personal favorite of mine, since it doesn't cost mana to tap, making it valuable for untap combos. ] is also good, but only makes one-time-use tokens. It is strictly better than ] and still has other abilities on top of that. The best type 1 artifact creature token generators are either planeswalkers or ]. They are combo enablers, but in exchange they do nothing without other cards to trigger them. Type 2 means usually "When" or "Whenever"-abilities. They are very slow token generators, but therefore they work independant. I'll separate them into 2 types: Type 1 taps, or only triggers once, or usually only once per turn. These are the best artifact creature token generators that I could find: I've been working on a ] deck that wants to "go-wide" and then either wins by pumping creatures up or sacrificing them to Breya. And I think you'll find that you will most of the time have plenty on board to be aggressive while still being able to hold some back for great defense against multiple opponents. There seem to be a lot of cards out there that create artifact creature tokens in one way or another. You have some really nice beaters in there, but I think you could cut the CMC down by taking out a few sphinx's, and then making it a more aggressive deck with your flying-lifelinking-deathtouching thopters. With all the mana rocks, Sydri can turn them into creatures when you don't need them for mana, so things like the signets and that actually pull double duty, which is something that's really neat about Sydri. I think the next step is to figure out what creatures you can cut. ![]() Thoughtcast is neat, but I feel like you already have better draw, it's only 2 cards :/ I think at least one of those should be cut, possibly 2. So you've got redundancy in Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Thopter Spy Network. I had a Sydri deck for a while, but I didn't have the cards or the playgroup to let me go infinite with colorless mana, so all the games got really grindy. Other people might disagree with me on a few things here, and that's fine, they're probably more experienced with artifact decks. It's amazing, and hilarious, and one of those cards that goes from 0 to hero only with Sydri.
